Marco Glaviano will be exhibiting during Art Basel this year at Art Miami.

The show is a retrospective of Glaviano’s large-scale works and comprises a selection of the legendary photographer’s best known black and white images of supermodel Cindy Crawford. These pieces, printed on canvas are a special new collection sprinkled with diamond dust. Also available are limited edition color portfolios.

Cindy Crawford will be in attendance at the VIP Preview for the big reveal of the new works.


2013 marks an important moment in the life and work of Marco Glaviano.

Marco Glaviano began his career shooting in St Barths and launching here the careers of some of the world’s most important supermodels including Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova and Paulina Porizkova and simultaneously putting the island of St Barths firmly on the map and making it known for its own natural beauty.

A special limited edition collector’s art book has been published and is available – with only 100 editions produced. The book contains a selection of photographs from throughout Glaviano’s career and comes with a special collectors fine art pigmented print.

With a career spanning 4 decades the exhibitions also present images from the last forty years including the supermodel series, nudes and extensive images of beautiful women adorning the St Barths landscape.

Marco Glaviano is one of the most famous names in the fashion industry, sought after by all the supermodels from Cindy Crawford to Eva Herzigova. He has photographed more than 500 magazine covers for American Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Elle and other leading titles. He has shot campaigns for L’Oreal, Valentino, Revlon, Roberto Cavalli, Giorgio Armani, and Calvin Klein.

He has published fourteen books, and had more than twenty solo exhibitions around the world. 

He has been the leading pioneer of digital photography becoming the first to publish a digital photograph in American Vogue in 1982.

His photographs are highly collectable and hung in some of the world’s leading museums and private collections. He also designed and founded Pier 59 in New York, still recognised today as the most important and well-known photo studio in the world.
