Dominique Rousserie: Terrae Incognitae
Dates: March 14 - May 16, 2020
The museum is pleased to present a retrospective of the work of the artist Dominique Rousserie. After being presented at the MuBE (Museum Brasileiro da Escultura) in 2012, the island of Saint-Barthelemy hosts an enhanced version of this exhibition, whose works represent 20 years of relationship between the artist and our territory.
Color plays an essential role in Dominique Rousserie's work. A sensitive immersion that goes further than the simple visual aspect because we are hypnotized in front of the works that only the work of a great colorist can do. In one's work, one can observe the presence of a double vocation: that of moving and exploring, by placing curiosity as the form of knowledge that enriches one's art.
