“For this series, my work has focused on my favorite element: Air. Air gives a feeling of elevation and strong energy. The essence of my pictures consists of metaphors responding to the expression of nature though humans but also humans and the connections they have with their environment. I aim to tell a unique story with each piece, and invite the viewer to adopt new perspectives when contemplating a piece.”

Isabelle Lindbergh’s works focus on mobility and freedom, and she is able to capture the place and the model in movement. To capture these moments, she worked with a 16 meter silver sheet to harness the power of the wind. This organic and free-spirited process results in innocent moments that showcase nature and humans in a beautiful light. Isabelle Lindbergh’s use of the Piezography printing process is also noteworthy, as it is the highest-standard in black and white printing. It captures the depth and nuance of the image, producing tens of thousands of gray levels that enhance the quality of the final print. The production of her prints is an integral part of the creative process, and Lindbergh is meticulous in ensuring that every step is executed to perfection.
Born in Senlis near Paris, France, Isabelle Lindbergh’s background is also remarkable, as she is the granddaughter of American aviator Charles Lindbergh, the first person to cross the North Atlantic non-stop. However, her focus has now turned to fine art, as she seeks to express her full creative vision.
