Scents & Shadows: Crafting Memories in Fragrance and Art

We kicked off 2025 with our third Creative Series event "Scents & Shadows: Crafting Memories in Fragrance and Art’". On January 9th guest speaker Kristina Nazarévskaia from INVERSO PROFUMI spoke about the connection between fragrance and art.

Together we explored the synergy between fine perfumery and photography as art forms. During the event we paired select fragrances with photographs by Hugh Arnold, Gabriela Imperatori-Penn, Christophe Jacrot and paintings by Hannah Polskin. 

During this exercise of interplaying between olfactory and visual memory through perfume and art, we discovered how much scent profiles impact how art is viewed and digested.
