Saint Barth: a glamorous island of catamarans, celebrities and fluttering caftans. It's a place of where sun-drenched sailors share tables with business magnates and a distinct French flavor mixes with the laidback, Caribbean island life. Water is king and life revolves around the waves, the harbor packed with super yachts and small sailing boats, and people heading out for days on the beach. An island steeped in wealth and history, from five-star eateries and exclusive shopping boutiques, luxury experiences await you.

Jacques Zolty
Jacques Zolty is an integral part of the Saint Barth landscape. Born in a small village in south west France, he settled on the island in 1983 and began to document the terrain and characters through his camera lens. His passion for Saint Barth grew, along with his collection of images documenting island life and he has now worked alonside some of the most well-known and respected photographers in the world.
Many of his images are on display at Space SBH. A contemporary art gallery, principally focusing on painting and photography by a mixture of established and emerging international artists, Space SBH is one of the island's most visited spots. This image titled "La Cocoteraie de Lorient, 1988" is one of the most famous from Zolty.
The gallery represents a select group of exhibiting artists and has a portfolio of many others for sourcing artwork for private commission and provides a dedicated consultancy service for those wishing to expand their personal collection. From 2005-2011, founding partner Natalie Clifford was director of Eden Rock Gallery, which led her through a series of collaborations with other galleries including Mary Boone Gallery, Tony Shafrazi Gallery and Gagosian Galleries with a number of significant exhibitions featuring world-famous artists.
The subject of Zolty's photographs is often portraits or landscapes and more recently Jacques has completed a sailing series, as well as a collection of raw and beautiful Cuba, a place he also spends a lot of his time. His intention is to convey an idea, energy or emotion, and to act as a witness to something that has passed before his eyes.
