In the days following Andrea Cáceres’ solo exhibition and the launch of her book, Dog Affirmations: An Illustrated Journey Inside Your Dog’s Thoughts, a delightful collaboration with Bloomsburg, The Creative Series continued to bring art and joy together with a special event at Space Gallery SoHo. Known for her charming and colorful depictions of dogs, Andrea delighted guests by painting live custom pet portraits in her signature playful style.
Art lovers — and their pups — gathered to celebrate creativity, companionship, and the special bond we share with our furry friends. The gallery was filled with smiles, laughter, and wagging tails as Andrea captured each pet’s personality on canvas with her unique, joyful touch.
Portraits were available by appointment only, and with limited availability, the event quickly filled up, highlighting the excitement surrounding Andrea’s beloved work.
Guests were thrilled with the entire experience — they loved the playful selfie mirror, the lively and welcoming ambiance, and the joy of taking home their framed custom paintings. Many described the evening as a memorable celebration, a perfect moment to cherish with their beloved pets.
The evening was a true celebration of art, color, and community — a perfect reflection of The Creative Series’ mission to make art interactive, inclusive, and full of heart.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Andrea Cáceres is a Venezuelan-born, New York–based artist known for her joyful, narrative-driven illustrations that celebrate the connection between pets, language, and belonging. She has created thousands of custom pet portraits, developed collaborations with brands such as It’s Nice That, Meta, and Microsoft, and expanded her artistic vision into textiles, editorial projects, and fine art, thus building a devoted following and turning everyday moments into art.
Her publishing career began with the acclaimed children’s book My Dog Just Speaks Spanish (Candlewick, 2023), followed by Hello Tobi (2025) and Dog Affirmations (Bloomsbury, 2025). All celebrate identity, resilience, and the unique relationships we form with our pets. Her first solo fine art show in May 2025 sold out completely, affirming her place as a rising star in the contemporary art world.
