An Evening with Loren Eiferman: Inspiration, Process, and I Love Your Work

On October 7th 2026, Space Gallery SoHo welcomed guests for an artist talk with Loren Eiferman, presented as part of our Creative Series and in conjunction with I Love Your Work. Led by Caitlin McKenna, owner of Kelly Mckenna Gallery, the conversation offered a closer look at Eiferman’s sculptural practice and the ideas behind the works featured in the exhibition.

Eiferman shared how she transforms foraged tree limbs into intricate, organic forms, reflecting on the relationship between her materials, her process, and the natural world. The discussion also explored the ways her sculptures enter into dialogue with Rob Ventura’s vibrant paintings throughout the gallery.

One particularly memorable thread was the unpredictability of inspiration. Eiferman spoke about never knowing when an idea might take hold—whether through an encounter with another artist’s work or extensive research into The Voynich Manuscript. Her reflections offered a glimpse into the curiosity and exploration that inform her practice.

The conversation concluded with questions from guests, creating an opportunity to engage directly with the artist and revisit her sculptures with a deeper understanding of their origins.

Presented in partnership with Kelly McKenna Gallery, I Love Your Work is on view at Space Gallery SoHo, 428 Broome Street, through October 25th.
