Space SBH partners for the 2nd year with the St Barth Bucket Regatta

Space SBH is delighted to announce its continued collaboration with St Barth Bucket 2018 as an official partner for the annual regatta.

The commemorative Bucket Poster will be available for the second year exclusively at the gallery. It is the second poster in the series by artist Andy Smith.

As per last year, Space SBH and the Bucket will donate 100% of proceeds from the sale of the poster to support a local charity. Last year 5000 euros was raised and donated entirely to the St Barth Yacht Club to support the Youth Sailing Program. This year, having reviewed needs on the island following Hurricane Irma in September, it has been agreed that all funds should be donated to rebuilding and repairin homes on the island.

The poster is a limited edition and due to popular demand, there will be 140 numbered, editions offered for sale this year. The poster is priced at 80 euros and they will officially go on sale on Monday 5th March directly at the gallery in the Carré D'Or.

To reserve your copy contact the gallery by email info@spacestbarth.com or stop by in advance of the regatta celebrations.

We look forward to making a contribution to rebuilding our home and supporting fellow islanderes.

2018 Official Charity: “Help St Barth”

“Help St Barth” will receive the 2018 donation. Hurricane Irma presented an early and urgent opportunity for the traditional St Barths Bucket donation. There has never been a more worthy, timely cause. In the immediate aftermath of the horrific September storm, we were able to help with some critical supplies and logistical assistance. Urgent needs included chainsaws for clearing roads and byways and tarps for the many roofs that were lost or damaged.

With the full support of the Stewards, the Bucket organizers coordinated stateside logistics and arranged for the purchase, shipping and payment of high priority goods and transportation. The courage and determination of the people of St Barths was, and continues to be, an inspiration.

Sales of the 2018 St Barths Bucket poster provided additional financial aid to help those most in need as they continue to rebuild and refurbish on this most beautiful island.
