It's that time of year again, and Space Gallery St Barth is proud to partner with the Bucket Regatta for the fourth year running to offer the limited edition 2020 poster.

Space Gallery will reveal the official image of St Barth Bucket Regatta 2020 poster on March 9th & presale will begin on March 16th. 100% of sales proceeds will be donated to St Barth Yacht Club to support the youth sailing.

Unfortunately the Bucket Regatta 2020 was canceled due to the Covid-19 crisis, a few days before kick-off. A significant financial loss for the organization, which nevertheless insisted on donating the profits from the sale of posters from the event to three local associations. Highlighting the difficulties post-Irma, and those that the coronavirus will cause, the Bucket offered 4,500 euros to each of the structures which had been chosen this year: the sailing school of the Saint-Barth Yacht Club, the Galops equestrian center des Îles, and HandiBarth (formerly Saint-Barth Handicap). It's not over, since all the posters, sold for around a hundred euros at the Space Gallery, have not gone away: it is therefore still possible to treat yourself to one for a good cause. After this catastrophic year, the organizers are now focusing on a more joyful event: the Bucket Regatta 2021!

Limited edition 2020 Bucket Regatta posters are available for sale at Space Gallery St Barth.

Saint Barth Handicap Association

St Barth Yacht Club (SBYC)

2020 Official Charities: The Saint Barth Handicap Association (SBHA) and the Galops des Iles Equestrian Center Association.

The St Barths Bucket is proud of the contributions made to worthy causes in St Barths. A portion of the entry fee and proceeds from the sale of the popular Bucket posters go to local charities.

For 2020, the entry portion will be donated to two most worthwhile causes: The Saint Barth Handicap Association (SBHA) and the Galops des Iles Equestrian Center Association. Both are still working to recover from serious damage caused by Hurricane Irma.

The stated mission of the Saint Barth Handicap Association (SBHA) is to help the disabled people of the island and their families; and to raise public awareness and a spirit of solidarity for handicap issues. There are sixty island residents who could benefit from medico-social services but current funding can provide for only a very small number. St Barth Collectivité has committed land for a future structure to replace the one destroyed by the hurricane, but the SBHA is currently focusing on critical immediate needs.

The Galops des Iles Equestrian Center Association is slowly recovering from the trauma experienced from the hurricane. With limited resources, they have persisted in caring for the surviving animals. In order to continue operating and caring for the animals, the association is working with the St Barth Collectivité on a unique Educational Farm Project. This project will help foster respect for living animals and educate the youth of St Barths.

Poster sales proceeds will be presented to the Youth Sailing Program at the St Barths Yacht Club. SBYC is an active sailing school and their priority is the youth of St Barths. Every year, over 400 children learn to respect each other and their environment. They also learn how to be responsible and cooperative in the pursuit of their goals. SBYC is not a conventional yacht club. Resources and budgets are far more limited than what one would expect to find in a typical club.

Limited edition posters were available for sale at Space Gallery St Barth. The gallery graciously donates their time and energy handling the sales.

Space Gallery St Barth contemporary art gallery was the exclusive location for sales of the limited edition 2020 Bucket Poster.
