Space Gallery St Barth official partners of the St Barth Bucket Regatta, 2023

The St. Barths Bucket returns to the idyllic island of Saint Barthélemy for its 29th time since first gracing these local waters in 1995 and its 36th edition since debuting in the USA (Nantucket, Massachusetts) in 1986.

Space Gallery St Barth is proud to partner with the Bucket Regatta for the sixth year running to offer the limited edition 2023 poster. The commemorative Bucket Poster will be available exclusively at the gallery and this series which was designed by Hermès' in house designers. The poster has become something of a collector's item for visitors to the island and aficionados of the annual regatta.

Bucket memories can be rolled up and taken home in the form of this year’s limited edition Bucket wall poster, the artwork for which was designed by Hermès. Get them during the day at the Space Contemporary Art Gallery, located on Carré D’Or between Hermès and Ralph Lauren – and during the evenings at the ticket table for the Bucket Bar.

The poster is a limited edition and due to popular demand, there will be 250 numbered, editions offered for sale this year. The poster is priced at 100 euros and they will officially go on sale on Monday 5th March directly at the gallery in the Carré D'Or.

Bucket poster sale proceeds will be combined with 500 Euros from each entry fee to benefit this year’s chosen charity: the Youth Sailing Program at the St. Barths Yacht Club (SBYC). Every year through the program, over 400 children take to the water and learn to respect each other and their environment. In addition to making a monetary donation to support the SBYC youth program operations, the Bucket will purchase and donate the robotic MarkSetBot race mark, on the Bucket race curse this week. It will be used by SBYC and hopefully at all regattas in St Barths. By the way, the SBYC and their members play an active role as on-water and shoreside volunteers at the Bucket each year.

2023 Official Charity: The Youth Sailing Program at the St Barths Yacht Club (SBYC)

The St Barths Bucket has proudly made many contributions to worthy St Barths causes over the years. A portion of the entry fee and proceeds from the sale of the popular Bucket posters go to local charities.

The 2023 donation will be made to a most worthwhile one: The Youth Sailing Program at the St Barths Yacht Club (SBYC). SBYC is an active sailing school with the youth of St Barths a major focus. Every year, hundreds of children learn to respect each other and their environment. They also learn responsibility and cooperation in the pursuit of these goals.

SBYC is not a conventional yacht club. Resources and budgets are far more limited than what one would expect to find in a typical yacht club. The safety and maintenance of boats in the children’s fleet is an important priority for the SBYC.

In addition to  the monetary donation to support their operations, 2023 will include a progressive commitment to the environment. The Bucket will purchase and donate a robotic mark, which will be used by the club and hopefully at all regattas in St Barths. Robotic marks are increasingly prevalent in sailboat racing today. They reduce the need for mark boats. Engine pollution is significantly decreased and environmental damage to the sea floor done by anchors is eliminated.

The SBYC and their members play an active role as on-water and shoreside volunteers at the Bucket each year.

Limited edition posters are primarily available for sale at Space Gallery St Barth. The gallery graciously donates significant time and energy handling the sales. Posters will also be available at the regatta village.

Space Gallery St Barth contemporary art gallery was the main location for sales of the limited edition 2023 St Barths Bucket Poster. This year the Poster could also be bought during the evenings at the ticket table for the Bucket Bar.
