St Barth in the City

November 15 - February 15, 2019

Space Gallery St Barth opens a new location in New York City; contemporary art gallery with a strong European flavor opens a new location at 428 Broome Street between Crosby & Lafayette Streets.

Space Gallery St Barth is excited to introduce Space Gallery SOHO – our new location in downtown New York City. Our programming has a distinctly European flavor. Through each exhibition, we seek to communicate the spirit of St Barth to a new audience. Our inaugural exhibition - entitled “St Barth in the City” - will showcase photographs, paintings, and sculpture by: Gilles Bensimon, Philip Colbert, Arno Elias, Nicole Etienne, Marco Glaviano, Gabriella Imperatori-Penn, Victor Matthews, Roger Moreau, Jean-Philippe Piter and Hunt Slonem.

Established in 2011, Space Gallery St Barth is a contemporary art gallery dedicated to developing and presenting painting, photography, and sculpture by both established and emerging artists. The gallery’s founder, Natalie Clifford, was Director of Eden Rock Gallery in St Barth from 2005-2011. During this period, Clifford organized a series of high-profile collaborations between Eden Rock Gallery and blue chip galleries including Mary Boone Gallery, Tony Shafrazi Gallery, and Gagosian Galleries. Since its inception, Space Gallery St Barth has built up an impressive roster of artists, curated international exhibitions, and participated in major art fairs including the Venice Biennale. As of today, the gallery has locations in St Barth, Miami, Monaco, and New York City.
