Space Gallery is delighted to announce a new art partnership with TIMUNTU - a concept store showcasing African lifestyle, lavishly curated by interior designer and architect Aline Matsika.  

Its mission is to share the rich artisanal know-how of African countries has long inspired the world — notably the world of luxury. The concept store aims to celebrate this aesthetic — both ancestral and contemporary — in a very unique location, Paris.

TIMUNTU In Bantu languages "Tshimuntu", also referred to as Ubuntu or Umunthu, calls to mind values innate to mankind: friendship, love, solidarity, empathy, know-how and lifestyle. Essential notions that we are bringing to life with this project.

At the heart of the store which celebrates African Renaissance, is an offering of furniture by French Senegalese designer Aissa Dione — renowned for her collaborations with luxury houses such as Hermès, Chanel and Tiffany. 

Additionally the boutique will showcase a beautifully curated selection of handcrafted products and the best of the best of African Artisanry, leather goods, textiles, ceramics, basketry and art.
